Securelinx has been at the forefront of enterprise Linux adoption since its foundation in 2002. Over that time we have always supported key principles such as interoperability between Linux and Microsoft environments. As a long-time advocate of such benefits for enterprises it has been great to see Microsoft steadily become more “Open” and engaged with Linux vendors.

The agreement late in 2015 whereby Microsoft and Red Hat agreed to jointly support Red Hat Linux within Azure heralded a new phase for Securelinx, as we were invited to become a Microsoft Partner and formal skills provider to their Consulting Services division. This recognition by Microsoft of Securelinx Red Hat expertise means that we are now actively collaborating with Microsoft to assist those customers that wish to deploy Red Hat based solutions within Azure.
Our services in this Partnership area currently take the form of:
- Providing consulting knowledge for Microsoft and its customers about Red Hat and Open Source
- Assisting Microsoft customers to understand the opportunity for deploying Red Hat Linux within Azure
- Assisting Microsoft customers to undertake Red Hat / Azure based Proof of Concepts and Production Projects
Working with Microsoft in order to address this Azure opportunity means that Securelinx now has the capability to work with Azure, OpenStack and Amazon based cloud environments – assuring our customers of continued Linux excellence as the transition continues from on-premise based infrastructure to either Private or Public Cloud.
